Pain is Pain — Call to Action: Step-by-Step Guide for Tomorrow, Nov 11
Today We Rise. Today We Unite. Today We Demand Justice.
Our community knows what it’s like to live with suffering. Pain is Pain, and every voice matters. Together, we can make our voices heard and demand responsible, compassionate care for those living in pain.
This guide will help anyone who wants to participate in the Call to Action tomorrow, even if you’ve never done this before.
Step 1: Prepare Your Story
Take a few minutes to write down your personal experience. Keep it brief, honest, and focused:
- How does chronic pain affect your daily life?
- What challenges have you faced with access to care?
- How do you hope policies or awareness can improve?
You can also use bullet points to make it easier to read or share.
Step 2: Decide How You Want to Participate
You can participate in one or more ways:
- Call a major news network
- Send an email or news tip
- Post on a network’s Facebook news page
You don’t have to do all three — even one action counts.
Step 3: Use a Script
Here are ready-to-use scripts. Personalize them with your own experience as needed.
